Cannot believe it has been over a month since I posted any images. I have been busy. Computer had to go to the Computer Doctor. lst week of June went on a mini vacation to see my brother and his wife in SC. Will post some images from Mt. Pleasant later. On Thurs. went to the Tanger Family Garden. Daylilies were in bloom. There were lots of different cultivars in full bloom.
It was overcast so didn't have issues with highlights. I felt like I was in a candy store and did not know which image I wanted to capture first. May go back with my iPhone so I can use apps.
These images were taken with my new Luminex-Panasonic ZS70 in the Intelligence Assist mode. Post-processing with PSE 15 adjusted shadows, highlights, sharpening and decreased size of files as these images were posted on my FB page.

In the South in USA, June is the time you see mimosa blossoms, I wanted to try out the macro mode and telezoom on my new Panasonic ZS70. The image on the left I took a cluster of blossoms using a slight zoom as these were higher than eye level at the JC Raulston Arboretum. The right image I found a blossom I could zoom in futher to get a macro shot to show more texture of the blossom, leaves, and fruit. Post processsing done with PSE 15. Images cropped to be able to post on my FB page. The right image I used the invert filter in PSE 15 which changed the colors. Then sharpened a little greater than normal, and finally added accented edges filter--definitely altered art.
